I would really like to have some contact with the person who posted the above post. I was amazed when I was reading this, as my experience with Bank of America and my attempts to submit and secure a HAMP loan modification was, and is, almost identical. I could change and add a few details and this blog post would be telling my story. I have recently submitted a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regarding my ongoing situation and am anxious to see if there will be any resolution in my situation. I am wondering what happened in with you and your clients communications and loan modification attempts with Bank of America. I would also like to be able to speak with Ms. Green at the HAMP solution center.

This is not an independent ‘federal’ audit. If you read the report you will discover that Ed Rendell came up with a number and gave that to the Feds. The feds just reiterate what the state tells them. Wagner did an audit. Anyway, most of the cost of the error rate is profit to insurersand not an actual benefit to a poor person. Ed Rendell collected a lot of money from insurance execs.
